The cable that comes with the Apple Watch is way too short from where I need to charge my watch from.
I see that Apple sells a longer cable but it's $40. Is there any other good alternatives to the apple cable?

Best Buy sells a 4' Insignia branded one, I picked one up when I needed a spare charger, seems to do pretty well (meaning I can't tell any difference in the capabilities of it). The platform is larger than the OEM charger though.

Here is a link to it.

id they start putting the short 1m cable in the box? The original puck I got with my first watch is still going strong, that cable seemed to go on forever.

Thanks and yes, it's a short 1 m cable. Strange since most people I would think would like putting their watch on the bedstand next to their bed at night. I have tall nightstands.
