Incoming call knocks me off Skype

If there is an incoming call on my iPhone, while I am using the Skype app -- then it will prompt to answer or decline the call and in the process disconnect me from my Skype conversation.

is there a workaround for this

Jailbreak then set Backgrounder to always keep Skype open until you manually close it. Skype is pretty much useless until you set it up that way; every time you get a txt or call it kills the VoIP call.
