Is anyone having any issues with incoming calls ringing once and going to voicemail? I've had this issue since Beta 3 and I was hoping Beta 4 would fix it but it's still a problem for me. I have an iPhone 17 Pro Max and a 16 Pro Max both with different phone numbers on T-Mobile and both running iOS 27 Beta 4. On the 16 Pro Max, I have no issues with incoming calls. On the 17 Pro Max, calls ring once and then there is usually (not always) a “User Busy” message and the call hangs up before I can pick it up and goes to voicemail. I’m able to call the person back but I can’t pick up any incoming calls. I have a workaround that I’ve been using which is to turn on call forwarding on my 17 Pro Max and use the number on my 16 Pro Max as the forwarding number. I then have calls on other devices enabled on my 16 Pro Max and when calls from my main number on my 17 Pro Max come in, they first ring on the 16 Pro Max and then ring on my 17 Pro Max allowing me to answer calls normally. So, calls do ring normally as forwarded calls back to the 17 Pro Max but they don't ring normally with forwarding off so something is off somewhere. It’s annoying but at least I'm no longer hanging up on people who call me. This isn't a permanent solution though, so I'm hoping to find a fix. I didn’t have this issue on the previous betas. I’m curious if anyone else is having this problem. I was having an issue on Beta 2 where I could not move icons around. It was near impossible to do it but Beta 3 fixed that issue but now I have this incoming calls issue and I have no idea what to try. I've tried all the usual recommendations:
1. reset network settings
2. made sure no focus mode was turned on that kept calls from ringing
3. turned off ignore calls from unknown callers - it doesn't discriminate, it does this with known and unknown callers
4. made sure the numbers are not blocked (I use my work and home landline to test this so they are definitely not blocked)
5. rebooted the phone multiple times
6. turned airplane mode on and off
7. changed ringtone (it was worth a shot)
8. Turned off Wi-fi calling (it happens no matter if I'm on Wi-fi or cellular networks)
The only thing I have not done is a complete phone reset (without a restore so it can be a fresh install) since this is my nuclear option but it may be the next thing I try if I can't find another solution. Any guidance/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance to anyone who answers.
