incoming Mail sound

It works for me, however, I did have to re-establish sounds after the update. Now incoming mail sound works fine.
 
Mine works fine. In fact, I now get the sound BEFORE the mail notification dialog instead of 10 seconds after.
 
it seems to work on IMAP accounts and as "hallux" posted it comes in before the mail notification. But does not work on POP3 accounts on my 2015 Macbook Pro 13". I'm running 10.11 public release.

Still broke here. But only works on Imap accounts as well.

It did not work here either until after I did a clean install of 10.11.2. Now it works okay on both IMAP and POP3 accounts.
 
When I came home and booted my Imac today. The email sound appears to be working properly. I will report back if it fails again.
