iPod touch Incomlpete Cyida Installation

Ohai thar.
i've got this iPod Touch 4 G and i'm attempting to Jailbreak it but Cydia isn't installing properly. The icon is a white block instead of the usual brown looking thing and it crashes when I try to open it

4th Gen. 4.3.4 OS.. using redsn0w

4.3.4 is a tethered jailbreak. To use jailbreak things like Cydia, you must put run redsn0w on your iPod every time it boots. Check only the "Just boot tethered right now" box.
