Im puzzled as to why the watch is getting inconsistent notifications from messages and mail app

Seems like notifications from third party apps are all up to date

In mail, i will get a couple of notifications then they stop

Messages seems like the notifications for threads with Sms and not iMessage messages are sometimes only coming in.

Is this a bug or did i miss something in the setup

Also if i reboot the watch the notifications come right through

Yes...this!

and I was so in love with the watch...but like every other woman in my life, eventually they dissapoint:confused:

I'm on a reboot cycle myself. I'll be testing it starting tomorrow to determine the exact interval but offhand it seems like around two days something accumulates to cause notifications from my medicine reminder app to stop notifying me via haptic feedback. (I don't use audible alarms so I don't know if that is affected, too).

What you're seeing is not unusual. There have been other threads on this floating around the forum. I don't know if it's affecting all Apple Watch owners, though or just some of us. My husband hasn't run across this yet but he hasn't had his watch as long as I have. It took me several days to realize or notice this was going on. I was so busy learning about how to use the watch I didn't know what was normal, odd, etc.

notifications are stupid. I read a text message and reply and one minute later i get a notification on my watch that i received a message. so stupid

Ok, this is annoying.

Day 1 was perfect. Got notifications, haptic, the whole bit.
Day 2 started out perfect. Then it all stopped.
No sound notifications.
No haptic feedback.

Haptic seems to work since I get the feedback when I go to Siri or try to change the watch face.
If i send a text to myself from the watch, I get the ding, no haptic
If someone sends me a text, no ding, no haptic. But I get the red dot that says I have a notification.

I have tried it all.
Reset watch, hard reset, re-pair, reboot phone, etc. etc.

Any one go to the Apple Store yet and figure this out?
I am going to go this weekend.

You know I've been hearing about this, but mine has been perfect and instantaneous. I'm on ATT if that matters.
