iPhone Increase FPS for animation

First I thought I read somewhere that the 5s animations run at a higher FPS than other iPhones. Is this true and if it is could there be a tweak to bring this to older devices?

try turning them off all together. that way you can be 100% sure you have the fastest iphone animations possible
