Is there any way to increase the volume of the iPhone 4? Are there files you can change when you SSH into it? Does anyone have a step by step guide to how to do it.

are you asking where are the system sound files? or are you asking how to make a sound file louder?

Is it possible to make them louder? To increase the max volume that the software allows. I'm sure there's a way to do it. I just want to know if anyone has a specific guide of all the files that need changed.

well the sounds are located in System/Library/Audio/UISounds maybe you can takes those sounds files make them louder with an audio editing software then put those back overtop of the original files

I did this with my 3GS after I got my iPhone 4, I popped a pin through the mesh and the matireil stuff behind it, it does make a difference, but if you do be careful, stop after the materiel stuff
