Hi everyone,

I am a very new mac user and I use uTorrent for my downloads. My download speed is awesome, but my upload speed is absolutely terrible! It will literally not go past 5kb...

I've seen so many threads and websites about increasing your upload speed on a pc, but anyone has any ideas on how to do it on a mac?

I have a macbook pro os x version 10.6.5.

Thanks!!

Have you tried making sure you don't have "speed limit" enabled for upload speed? At least that's the case with transmissions, which is a way better mac torrent program IMO ;)

Also, run a test on speedtest.net to see what your upload speed is anyways... most ISP's are WAY WAY WAY lower upload than download.
