Increased app size/16GB iPad

With the increased size of the apps needed for the retina display, does anyone know how much available memory space the new iPad will ship with?

I do not want to get a 16GB iPad if apps and iOS is going to take up 2 or 3 gigs.

I've always gotten the 32GB iPad. I never wanted to sell myself short on Space. I would rather have a little more than a little less than I need at any given time. Until we get the iPads on Friday morning I am not sure anyone knows the answer to that question.
