Too early to tell. I'd say that apple increases the specifications, be it memory or display when they feel justified. For a smartphone how much memory is too much? I think the current amounts is more then enough.
 
I'm close to filling 16GB, can't say I'm going to need bigger than 32GB soon! Although, if it means they ditch the 16GB one and price the 32GB at the same pricepoint then I won't complain :rolleyes: but the iPod Touch has it, so the iPhone will follow it sooner rather than later :D
 
It just boils down to internal space and part cost. There is a significant premium in price to double the capacity in the same size chip. The iPod Touch has had a capacity advantage simply because it has the space to just toss in more chips.
If this part is cheap enough, it will probably happen.
