Saw this thread and was wondering the same thing. I normally don’t use screen protectors, but I’m considering it with the 11 Pro. I guess it’s probably best to wait for JerryRigEverything to test it out.Wonder how it does for scratches? Skip the screen protector?
Spending that much on a phone these days, yup I'd use oneSaw this thread and was wondering the same thing. I normally don’t use screen protectors, but I’m considering it with the 11 Pro. I guess it’s probably best to wait for JerryRigEverything to test it out.
Anyone seen Everythingapplepro latest drop test with the 11 pro and pro max??
It’s amazing , the phones didn’t even get a scratch from repeated 6 foot drops, and only cracked after 2 10 foot drops!!
Apples new glass is incredibly durable it seems
Maybe will go naked this year. Always use Apple's leather case and Apple/Belkin Screen protector, but would be nice to skip it.
No I just assumed everyone was capable of searching YouTube for itSo no link?
It won’t be any better than before. You can either have a super hard screen (no scratches but breaks easily) or strong (harder to break but scratches easier).Wonder how it does for scratches? Skip the screen protector?
Does the 11 have the same glass or just the pro.
Are you suggesting he rigged it?![]()
i guess its only durable when dropped by someone named "everything-apple-pro"
Glassgate.Tom's Hardware did an informal drop test and the results were "disappointing".
So you need to change this thread heading to 'Dropgate' or something appropriate. 😀
(I just bought one and would never expect it to stand up a drop on concrete no matter what they use)
Damn pretty durable. Hurt to watch tho
