How do you make the drop shadow proportionally scale down with an object?

For example, I want to scale down an object with a shadow setting of Y Offset: 0p4; Size 0p6. When I scale the object down to 50%, I want the settings to be 0p2 and 0p3. Sure, I can go back to the drop shadow window and reapply the settings, but I have to do this 30+ times.

Thanks.

Although not wat you wanted to hear, but I believe it's not possible. InDesign sees the content and the drop shadow as two different things and you cannot scale the effect simultaneously with the content (as you can in PhotoShop).

Luckily you only have 30 or so objects to scale :)

Unfortunatly have to second that, it also applies to if you need to rotate or flip images (like for print imposition) as I found out this week. The drop shadow effect is separate from the image and has to be fixed separately. This also includes not only the distance, but the angle as well. If you flip something over, the angle stays relative to the page origin. Sorry, I know how tedeous those kinds of adjustments can be.

InDesign CS3 scales drop shadows with objects that were created with InDesign. Importing images with drop shadows may be what you are having a problem with.
