Indesign Question

I have just upgraded from Adobe CS4 to CS5.5 and when I double click on a file in the finder to open with Indesign, it proceeds to open several of the files I've previously worked on.

I don't seem to find a reference to this in the preferences, but I could be missing something nor have I been able to find a reference in google searches....

Any ideas?

Are you using Lion? In System Preferences (not InDesign preferences) under General, there is an option to turn off "Restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps".
