Hi, so right now I'm using iOS 7 and I'm not sure if this is a new feature or not, but I can individually turn on and off data usage for basically all my 3rd party apps. I'm trying to help a friend who just made the switch from Android to Apple, and I'm trying to see if there's the same option for iOS 6? So if anyone knows or can look for me, that would be amazing!

Thanks

Data usage for the App or for whether the app will be backed up in icloud?
If iCoud backup then yes you can in IOS 6

If you turn off for the app how will it run? Or keep scores for instance between usage?

No I don't mean backing up to iCloud. In iOS 7, under the cellular settings, there's a list of all the apps that you have including some native apps, and there's a toggle next to everyone of them and you can toggle those individually to allow an application to use data over cellular or not. Like if I think hey, I don't see any reason why Angry Birds needs to use cellular data, then I can turn that off, I can still play the game but won't be able to purchase anything online or do anything that would require data until I am on wifi. This really helps control my data usage, and I was just wondering if there's the same option on iOS 6.
