Inertia Scrolling on MacBook Pro Smoother with 10.6.5 Update

When the update came that enabled inertia scrolling on my year and half old MacBook Pro I was ecstatic. I loved it on my iMac with the Magic Mouse. However on my MBP the scrolling was a bit juddery and not so smooth on long pages. Now with this update yesterday its absolutely on par with my iMac and is smooth as silk.

Anyone else notice this?
 
I have an Early 2009 17" UB MBP. I was thinking inertial scrolling did seem smoother - more (but still not quite) like my iPad. I'm glad I'm not the only one to notice the improvement, but at this point, we'll have to see more reports before coming to any conclusions.
