info on buying tv show on itunes

hello, I usually buy dvd from store and copy them to my external hdd to view them with my western digital mediaplayer.

if I buy ty show from itunes instead, can I copy them to the same external hdd and. iew them with my WD player? will the files expire and wont be a le to read them in the futur or not?

If you buy the show there is no expiration date on them. As for using the WD player, iTunes movies and Tv shows still have DRM on them and can only be played on apple devices.

There are programs out there that can convert them for you and take off the DRM... Just google it.
