Infrared remote control does not work

Recently i've upgraded my Mac Mini (mid 2010) to OSX 10.10. I'm using that one with Plex as a media server. Everything works fine, except the fact that my infrared Apple remote control does not seem to work anymore.

I can't find the option to enable or disable it in security settings (which i do have on my macbook).

Please help, how can i enable my remote control again?
