5.6 is on track for early November. Thanks, Im familiar with Trakt but prefer not to use it. Im happy with just using Infuse for movies for now. Im impressed again with the quick response. While I have you, how long should I expect to wait for v5.6?

Not at this time, but we may be able to find a creative way which would allow this to happen.@firecore is it at all possible to have Infuse refresh/update library in the background before opening/going to app? (sorry if this has been asked already)
DoneCan you drop us a note from your device so we can look into what's going on here?

Apple links all purchases/subscriptions to a particular iTunes account. If you switch accounts on the same device your Pro subscription *should* remain active, but you may run into trouble when updating or reinstalling the app. This may be a niche question but does your Infuse subscription tie to your Apple TV box or to your iTunes account? Currently I have a US and UK iTunes account on the same box, and I subscribe via the UK account. If I use Infuse on the US account on the Apple TV, will it still be the paid version?

We'll definitely be looking into this!https://www.macrumors.com/2017/10/30/apple-seeds-first-beta-of-tvos-11-2-to-developers/
This is great news. Hopefully Infuse supports the auto switching.

10.2 was released on December 12th of last year...so maybe there's a chance we see this before the end of 2017!tvOS 11.1 has been in beta for nearly a month, and hasn't hit officially yet, so 11.2 will probably be a way off yet anyway.
Oh of course, and we'll surely have it available well before the release of 11.2.Well, to be honest. In my opinion auto switching is the most important feature. I would put it on high priority.
Yes, tvOS handles the actual switching, but the app is the one passing along the specific frame rate/dynamic range info so tvOS knows what to do. Apps (like Netflix, iTunes, etc...) that use the native player will probably work out of the box. Other apps, like Infuse, will need to make a few changes before frame rate switching is available.Won't auto-switching be done at the OS level anyway? i.e. play a HDR file in Infuse and the ATV will switch itself? Netflix et al didn't have to update their apps to enabled auto-switching in the 11.2 beta.

That’s the public beta of 11.2 out now. Just saying....![]()
