Awesome!! ROCK on with that!

and this could just be it's late at night and I don't know what I'm reading anymore but "three sheets in the wind"? What's that mean? Is it Aussie slang that I don't know?

Three sheets to the wind is slang in the US too. It means drunk off your ass :D

My folks are coming down tonight to take me out to dinner, I have the sneaking suspicion there could be presents... :D (c'mon 5G iPod, you know you want to come home to Chundles)

You'll have to keep us abreast to what loot you make out with and awesome to hear that you don't have to wait for six months before you get your diploma.

Three sheets in the wind (also three sheets to the wind although this saying is technically incorrect) comes from old nautical parlance whereby the swagger of a drunk was said to resemble the motion of a boat with it's sails all over the place due to three of its ropes (sheets) dangling loose and blowing in the wind because of the actions of an unqualified crew.

It means p*ssed off your nut, trolleyed (not troll eyed but coming from the phrase "off one's trolley" from the phrase "off the wagon"), maggot, legless, wasted, off one's t*ts drunk.

And I plan on being so by about 1pm next Friday, and possibly half way there by about 7pm tonight.

Right, time to get ready for arvo tea with the folks, ooo I hope there's presents... :D

No presents, yet... Next Friday could be the day.

Dad did give me $30 for drinking tonight though, it's gonna come in handy.

OK, offski, will reply when I get back, sober or not.

Skip drinking and save yourself some trouble, just use an IV -- and don't forget to use a catheter so you don't have to make those silly trips to the bathroom.

Still curious, what do you plan on doing with your life now that you have a formal education?

Ha! As if I know! There's a Graduate Diploma in Canberra I'm hoping to do next year, 20 weeks travelling round Australia doing cheesy science shows for school kids, the rest of the year working at the national science centre doing educational stuff for the kiddies.

And it's official, I'm probably two sheets in the wind right now.

Hoo yeah!

Sounds fun. I remember people doing those science shows back in the day, they were always entertaining.

But for now, focus on getting that third sheet blowing.;)

Just had a kebab.

They always seem like a good idea at thetime but now I'm sort of regretting it.

Somebody's having a bit of a rant and rave out on the road, I'm gonna go have a look.

Lovin' the buzz!!

Yeah, kebabs are usually regrettable. I suppose it might help soak up some of the grog though.

Posting drunk seems to be the thing to do at the moment. Perhaps I should give it a go...:p

I think the guy on the road has been wronged by some chick named "jenny" and has decided the best way to get back at her is to get really effed up and yell out things that imply she may be somewhat promiscuous. That and shaking metal fences around old-folks homes.

I love my neighbourhood, two blocks from a gorgeous beach and the street theatre never ends.

Geeze I'm buzzing right now, just got the level right, not drunk enough that I can't see but still definitely "happy."
