iPod touch Initial Firmware

Can anyone tell me what firmware the iPod touch was running at launch?

1.1, then there was update 1.1.1 with bug fixes (some say it fixed negative black issues - I can't say that for sure)

Ah... so the v1.1.1 firmware also came with a vague change log. I'm only asking because mine shipped with v1.1.1 so I had no idea if their was a previous firmware revision and what the update to v1.1.1 brought.
