When I recieve my new iPhone 4 I wish to set it up as a 'new iPhone'. I want to start fresh as my contact list among other things are starting to get really messy. The only thing is, I want to keep my SMS messages.

Now that it's possible to jailbreak the new iPhone 4 is it as simple as;

1. SSH into current iPhone
2. Copy the sms.db file
3. Setup iPhone as 'new iPhone'
4. SSH into new iPhone
5. Paste the sms.db file

Thoughts? Will this work?

EDIT: Sorry, I meant to post this in the Help forum

Thanks,

I don't see why that wouldn't work. Give it a try and let us know what happens!
