My white MacBook has faded blue ink on the llid from the previous user. Anyone recommend anything suitable to remove it thanks. Don want to damage it further.

Rubbing Alcohol will usually remove ink/Sharpie from surfaces, just to be safe, test if first on an inconspicuous area like the bottom to make sure it doesn't harm the surface.
