Not to be nosey but...why don't you use Apple's Mail?
The integration with the other applications is amazing, not to mention its quite nice looking in comparison.
If you're having trouble with a certain issue, I suggest www.hawkwings.net. The man who runs that blog is amazing, and there's a walkthrough to do almost anything with Apple Mail.

I don't blame him for using Entourage. I do.
Apple Mail just is too simple and I needed a few other ways of using accounts and also the progress bar in Mail is very poor IMO. In the end I've found Entourage to be just as integrated as Mail is.
