All of these problems can be fixed by switching to an Android...

That may be but here's one, simple thing missing from Android that prevents me from switching: the inability to set a Google Task as a recurring task. What a ridiculous thing not to support?

(And no, I can't just use another service, I like my events and tasks to be in one app on my laptop and phone. iCloud calendars and reminders have this feature, Android doesn't.)

As far as concerned all OSes are missing different obvious things, choosing your platform usually means deciding which one will annoy you less.

You are right, and mine was just a sarcastic comment.

But for me Android gives you total control on your phone, do whatever you want with it without the need to jailbreak. But to each their own ;)

For you maybe, but for me there are certain things that android doesn't have which would drive me crazy.

For example, when I press the dictation button on the iPhone it allows me as much time as I want until I press the "done" button to start writing out what I said.

With Android? UGH. You press the dictation button and then as soon as you are taking a moment to think about what you are next going to say it stops listening and writes down what you have said up until that point.

I like how the iOS gives me time to think in between sentences, unlike Android that rushes you to blurt out whatever you can asap before it cuts you off.

There are numerous other things I prefer about the iOS over android. This is just one example of many.

As you said though... to each their own.

And i can name you a lot of other advantages of android over ios.

LED notification, multi windows, true multitasking, media storage, different phones to suit everyone, extra storage without the need to spend 100 dollars more... and many more.

But nothing is perfect. Each os has its adv. and disadv., as you said, see which one fits you well.

I chose android haha :p
