There & Back Again
Hey guys, I can't seem to catch a break using RK with my watch.

Yesterday I went for a 15km ride using my watch only setting in RK. I was also using AirPods connected to my phone. Then I hear the connect chime from my AirPods but the music stopped. I check my watch, RK stopped running and didn't save any data!

This am I used the watch only setting, my phone wasn't with me it was at home and switched off. I finished the ride, saved it, went inside, turned on my phone later, nothing was saved to my account.

So frustrated. I want to use the watch because I want heart rate info, and I want to be able to record stuff without needing my phone.

Anyone else having similar issues?

It was too unreliable for me. Have you thought about using the strava app and syncing to runkeeper. You actually get more info into runkeeper that way as it includes pace and elevation graphs.

There's a simple webpage which auto syncs your data

I'll have to do something. Today I burned 590 calories on a ride using my phone, and none of that registered in the Activity app on my watch.

I use RK solely because my friends all do. I used to use Runtastic but now it's changed so much and it's locked out some features even though I purchased the 'pro' version.

Feeling stuck!

Check out https://tapiriik.com/

You can sync all your activities with a button press or pay an extremely reasonable fee and they'll do it automatically. You can use strava to track and everything will just appear on runkeeper
