I desperately need help on this, I have installed Win 7 64-bit (Build 7100) using Bootcamp and everything is working flawlessly. That is, until I went to hook up my DVI/VGA connector to use for a projector. When I plug in DVI/VGA connector I get the Blue screen of death and Win 7 shuts down. It works fine of course when I boot into Mac OS. Has anyone else had this issue, I really don't know where to begin. This is a serious issue because I have to run my PowerPoint presentations under Windows. Is this X64 issue with win 7? Help please!!

Post a screen shot of the BSOD - may be then we can tell if it is a driver issue or Windows 7 Issue. If the nvidia driver is listed - go to nvidia's site and see if an updated driver is available.

If it is a Windows 7 issue - report it to Microsoft and hope that they will fix it before general availability.

Use your cell phone camera or any other one - other wise just note down what it says on a paper and post it.

If the computer automatically restarts before you can take a shot or note the info - Go to Control Panel and double click System.
In System Properties, click on the Advanced tab.
On the Advanced page, click on the Settings button in the
    Startup and Recovery section.
This should bring up the Startup and Recovery dialog where you
    can uncheck "Automatically restart".
    Click OK twice.

I found this in Action Details under problem details...meaningless to me but hope it might give some insight...

    Description
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000007e (0xffffffffc0000046, 0xfffff80002a70c4c, 0xfffff88007c28360, 0xfffff88007c28400). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 062909-22183-01.

I also checked around, the best I can tell is that I do have the most up to date version of NVIDIA driver 9600m GT 7.15.11.7967 (3/9/2009). I was wondering if would be worth rolling back the driver, assuming that this is the problem.

If it worked earlier - try rolling back the driver to previous version and hope it does work.

Otherwise your only recourse is to file a bug with Apple for the BootCamp drivers - http://bugreport.apple.com.

Rolled back to Standard VGA driver and plugged in DVI/VGA adapter and it worked no BSOD. Although I am not sure if it was outputting properly since I could not enable the toggle option for projector/laptop. Is there another way to toggle to projector? Anyhow, I will check if this does output to the projector when I get to work tomorrow. However, its definitely NVIDIA driver, will be watching out for updates.
