hey, when i push the "insert" button on my keyboard, it turns the cursor into a question mark, what does this mean?

do you have a windows keyboard? maybe INS is mapped to help cause when i press help on my apple keyboard the cursor becomes a ? i dont see a INS key on this keyboard when i look over it...

I have the old Mac keyboards (Yeah Power Key) and the Help key has Ins in small print on the top of the key. I think when Apple ditched the power key, they also stopped printing most of the names of the keys for a PC keyboard in small print on their keyboard. Mine has Ins above Help as well as Pring Screen, Scroll Lock, and Pause above F13, F14, and F15 respectively. I noticed my brother's G4 Cube keyboard does not have the alternate names labeled.
