I'm having trouble with images in Pages. I am trying to put images on to labels, using a Template but as soon as I insert either an image or a photo it becomes locked to that label and it cannot be resized or moved.
I have tried in both Page Layout and Word Processing formats, and also selecting "None" in Text Wrap but cannot seem to resolve this.
I have also tried choosing the "Make Master Objects Selectable" in Section Masters, still to no avail.

In desperation, I tried making the same size label sheet in Numbers but exactly the same thing occurs there.

Any help appreciated!

I'm using a Pages label template (8 labels on a sheet). If I just use a plain Page sheet, then I can insert any number of images or photos, each one selectable and adjustable for size. But trying to do the same thing in the template just locks an image to a label which can then not be moved or resized.

Exactly what template are you using? Where did you get it?

I've seen label templates for Pages that were just "tables"...and you're limited to what you can do within a table cell.

I don't see any label templates in my version of Pages.

I've made the template from a plain Pages sheet, then 'Saved as Template'

From the previous reply stating 'you're limited to what you can do within a table cell', I think what I'm doing wrong is making a label sheet and then saving it as a Template, as each label then becomes a cell. I've just done a very basic mock up of a label sheet but saved it just as a normal Pages document.
I'm then able to insert images or photos, resize etc. and then 'Save As', keeping the Custom Template document blank for the next time.
Thanks neutrino23 and BrianBaughn for your responses.
