This is game changing. For so many years my software couldn't support the feature rich hardware. Now I can take advantage of the amazing hardware in the iPhone 6. Engineering marvel! Revolutionary! Astounding! And it's a free upgrade!
I had this too, but it resolved after I deleted the app, rebooted the phone, and then downloaded the app anew.I don't see where the option is. Uploaded a wide pict version and it's clearly still a square on instagram
You need to pinch the picture to make it landscape. Although a very wide picture like a panorama is limited.I don't see where the option is. Uploaded a wide pict version and it's clearly still a square on instagram
I have a iPhone 6 plus and Instagram 7.5 does not allow me to send landscape or portrait. The icon the direction state does not appear .Thank goodness. As a Hasselblad owner and lover of square format, the Instagram saturation of bad square photography has been frustrating. I'm glad we'll see less of it.
Follow better accounts *thumbs up*Now you can fit it even a drink with your lunch!
It's being slowly rolled out to users. Seems like a backend switch. I hadn't had it all day until I checked right now.I have a iPhone 6 plus and Instagram 7.5 does not allow me to send landscape or portrait. The icon the direction state does not appear .

Crap. And I had so many widescreen shots of my lunch and nails too
Oh okay good. Most people talk crap about Instagram, but there's so much great contentI do, I don't really have this problem however based by the most used tags and content, this change might appear to many.
A fan of college humor but never seen this vid before. Thanks lolTime for a replay of the Instagram song! (Contains one naughty word, rhymes with 'duck' quite literally in this case)
Can anyone actually do this yet!? I am on 7.5 and iOS 8.4.1, using photos from my camera roll, and have no option "<>" to post landscape or portrait. I have reinstalled and rebooted to no luck.
Is the same with me. This MacRumor Forum thread site is the only place that I can find that acknowledges the problem with trying to get landscape/portrait modes with Instagram when using an iPhone on IOS 8.4.1
I did see that those modes were available to a friend using iPhone 5 but only was on IOS 8.4
Marcher can you look into this please because repeated tech support e-mail through their limited support page have had no replies. Go figure.
Wow, I can't believe they wouldn't support the current OS, perhaps a bug or negligence. Still a no go for me.
