iPhone Instagram crashing after ~30 seconds

Instagram v258.0 was auto-installed yesterday, and now the app crashes after 15-30 seconds of use, every time.

I see this is rampant on Twitter. Any MR staff want to run a story and try to get an answer? I'm actually in need of Instagram as a marketing tool and this is really wrecking my business.

yea I'm getting same. I delete then reinstall not closing it leaving in background seems to work for me. I saw this tip from a google on issue which many have now. I've had it for days and io update constantly so I don't think it was just that version from a day to two back. mines crashed for at least 4-5 days. I see the logs on iPhone showing this.

Since multiple users are experiencing it, it’s probably something wrong on the end, like a server issue. I expect they will be working on a fix as many people do rely on it and they are not going to be motivated to lose money.

so IG just updated to version 259 and I have yet to crash so hoping it has the fix cause what a PITA it has been

Absolutely crashes almost instantly on my 11 Pro Max.

My whole iPhone is crashing, when I'm using Instagram.
Then the springboard restarts (Apple logo for ~5 seconds) and I'm good for a few hours.

I've also expericend this while using Facebook...

Hoping on another update to fix this mess.
