Instagram updated. See the new icon, but not the new app

I updated Instagram to version 8, and see the new icon design, but when the app loads, it's still the old version. Odd. My iPad updated fine, but not my iPhone 6.

I've deleted, restarted, etc - but still not showing up.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I'm having the same issue on my 128GB iPhone 6. Wonder if it's affecting just that model?

I can sign in to the same IG account on my work shine which is a 5SE and I see the new UI just fine.

I just seen new icon few day ago but I have not used it

There's another thread on this with a few of us having the issue. No ideas yet. Probably will take another update to fix
