Instagram Website Gets Revamped Design

Instagram - be it Web, iPhone or iPad (2x) version - is THE worst UI/UX application I have ever used, bar none.

Have you ever tried using a printer 😆

Yep. I finally pulled the trigger on IG about 6 months ago for exactly the same reason, and I've found that (for the most part) I don't miss it. I haven't gone as far as deleting my account yet, but it's gone from my phone. 🙂

A damn shame.

Their algorithm isn't based on what I like or look at most, it's based on maybe one post that i liked or watch a video then everything in my feed is about that. I don't even bother to "like" posts from friends who are artists and post pics of their art because when I do, my feed becomes totally about art, despite the 99% of my likes have nothing to do with art. Or kittens. Or food. For the longest time, my feed was full of monster Jeep's and ORV's that i have zero interest in but must have watched an interesting video. Who knows.

I only use the web version on macOS and iOS (adblock makes it so much more tolerable then the app) and the site has not changed for me yet.

New design for the Web has been out for a bit, maybe they were randomly rolling it out to different customers to see if there were issues.

Still not updated for me on any of my devices; so it must be rolling out still.

The instagram website never works for me, it just won’t let me log in, saying either “your password is wrong” or “try later” 🤷🏻🤷🏻

Oooh he’s begging for investors to stick with him for this “Metaverse” to pan out.

I gotta ask, only cause I’m thinking, has Zuckerberg ever made fun of baby boomers or the generation older than what he’s in?!

I ask because Metaverse is just a kiddies naming version of The LawmowerMan movie into real lifE, and it’s sad really. Metaverse is like #2 of that movie were nobody in their right mind has watched the movie even though they’ve been rented on a really lonely boring sad night of their lives and has chosen not too.

The sad part, the VR glasses, on hardware actually are good, not as good as Sony’s for PS5-VR2.

Just wait until Zuckerberg and team Meta try to force IG to fall in line with their Meta push lol.

Ooof Epic Games has today been made to pay half a billion dollars fine for privacy violations and this Metaverse fund concept is even worse for privacy as it tracks kids across multiple games.
