Has anyone tried installing both XP and Windows 7 on the same machine using boot camp?

I know each will need its own partition but unsure if there will be driver conflicts or other issues.

I have some software that I need that will not run properly on Windows7 but need Windows 7 for a couple other programs.

It can be done but may be tricky. For example: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1011262/

You do know that Windows 7 Pro and above provide "XP Mode" which runs an XP Virtual Machine for compatibility...

Or you could install Windows 7 Home Premium and install Microsoft Virtual PC 2007, which is free, and run Windows XP through that.
