Curl is already installed.

For curl, I don't think you need XCode as it comes built in.
Try it out. Open Terminal and type in

which curl

and it should output curl's location. If it doesn't find it, it will output, "curl not found." If that happens, just download XCode from MAS.

But for lynx, I'm pretty sure that you do need Xcode.
