Well basically I tried to install Windows on Bootcamp, and long story short I have to completely reinstall OSX. When I put the Snow Leopard disc in, I try holding either Command-Option-Shift-Delete or just c, and neither methods work. It always tries to boot from the HD, in which case I just get the spinning circle for ever. Why wont it boot from the disc?!?!? I also tried plugging in an external dvd drive, and it still wont work....

Any ideas?

Do you have anything plugged into the computer?

What did you do when installing Windows that made this happen? Can you boot into Windows?

Nothing is plugged in, and I was making the partition for windows when this started. So no I can't boot into anything. Its just a $2000 paperweight

Did any errors pop up during the making of the partition (sorry for all the questions - just trying to figure everything out)?

It told me there was a problem partitioning the drive, so I booted from the snow leopard install disc, opened up the disk utility, then I hit repair disk, then I exited out of the disc and that's when it wouldn't boot into osx.

It seems like the hard drive may have failed. Bring it in to Apple and see what they have to say.

Yea, I'm going to. I just bought a new HDD like 4 months ago though, and I haven't had any other problems with it. I bought a really really good one.
