Install iOS 4.2 for iPad without Developer account

It won't get out of the restore mode. I've tried to get it into DFU mode to no avail.

Everytime after it verifies it has the error 21

edit: after I put it into DFU, the screen goes white and then has the error 21

Googling error 21 turns up lots of suggestions on how to fix it. Not sure which ones might apply to this case, and it's hard to weed out outdated stuff.

Get TinyUmbrela. When you get the error, use TU to kick iPad out of recovery mode.
