Hi All,
I've recently upgraded my 2006 intel iMac at home to Snow from Tiger using the $29 upgrade disc, therefore I still have the iWeb that came with my original Tiger OS. My problem is that I have one website (the only one I've ever created in iWeb) that needs a function added that can only be done with iWeb '09. I thought I could (and the local Apple "specialist" store said I could) use the Applications install DVD 2 from my newer Snow-based iMac at work (which has iLife 09) to update the iWeb on my newly Snow-upgraded Mac at home, but I get an "Alert, Can't be installed " message.
So, my question is: Is there a way to upgrade the iWeb on my home iMac using the Applications Install DVD 2 from my work iMac?
I just can't justify spending so much $ on the entire iLife 09 package just for a quick revision I need to do on one tiny website, as I never use the other iLife apps. But if it comes down to it, then I guess I must. Any advice or clarity is greatly appreciated
Thanks
