Hello.

I have a Mac Pro 2,1 with El Capitan 10.11.6
It's working fine with a Nvidia 5770

I want to use a Nvidia Quadro k620, altogether
But El Capitan does not recognize the video card

I've found these drivers, at Nvidia site:
"Quadro & GeForce Mac OS X Driver Release 346.03.15 346.03.15f06 | macOS El Capitan 10.11.6"

But I've couldn't install them

I've received this message:
==============================
Mac OS X version is not compatible
Mac OS X version 10.11.6 (15G1004) is required for this update. Please update your OS version and try again.
==============================

At Nvidia's page, there is this note:
==============================
Release Notes Archive:
This driver update is for Mac Pro 5,1 (2010), Mac Pro 4,1 (2009) and Mac Pro 3,1 (2008) users.
==============================

Any ideas?

Thanks.

What is the exact build of installed OSX? Click on the version no. in the window.

Maybe you'll find here a compatible driver: http://www.macvidcards.com/drivers.html

K620 is supported OOB since Yosemite and has GM107 (Maxwell), although the weird naming scheme supposed an older Kepler-based architecture.
System Software Overview:

System Version: OS X 10.11.6 (15G31)
Kernel Version: Darwin 15.6.0
Boot Volume: El Capitan
Boot Mode: Normal

"(15G1004) 346.03.15f03" din't work out, BUT "(15G31) 346.03.15f02" worked like a charm!

Thank you very much!
