Very badly. I rolled back. Laggy, jerky, slow. Not usable.

Mine lagged a bit but then I did a clean install after and its better.

Did the same thing, I'll be sticking with iOS 7 for a while, it performs great on my iPad 2.

iOS 8 runs fine on my iPad 2 however it is indeed a little jerky in places - especially when zooming in and out of apps. To be fair, it did this in iOS 7 as well.

I haven't really seen any problems, although my iPad isnt used a huge amount, not much in the way of apps, music or media.

Plus I did a hard reset and reinstall not long ago so it was almost a clean install of iOS 8.
