Install Snow Leopard with another computer's back up disc?

I'm trying to install Snow Leopard with my "Mac OS X install DVD" to my friends's Mac, I have a MBP and he has a MB, will it work?

No. Install disks that come in the box with Mac you buy are tailored to -that- computers system. You can't use it on another computer. You're going to have to get a retail version.

Plus it's a violation of the EULA since you do not own a license for Snow Leopard.
