Hi,

I have a Quicksilver with OS 9 loaded, with only a single partition on my HD. I want to install OS X and have dual-boot capability.

Can I just install OS X from the installation DVD, and OS 9 will remain on the hard drive (and bootable?) Or do I have to create separate partitions for each OS?

If I have to partition, is there any way of doing it without erasing the hard drive?

Thanks!

You can put them both on the same partition, and select which one to boot in Startup Disk.
