Install Windows 8.1

    In install OSX Mavericks 10.9.2 and insert a disk (Windows 8.1 64bit) but when want to install it with boot camp assistant (Version 5.1.2) says :

    Windows 8 not supported on this Mac

    Yep. Thats what it means, but maybe someone have found a way to install it anyways. Wouldn't surprise me :)

    But my bootcamp assistant is 5.1.2

    Can 2011 13" mac book pro or mac mini same year take windows 8.1?

    There was no mid-2011 MacBook Pro. The early models came out in February 2011 and were sold until October when the late versions were released.
