Install Windows from External Optical Drive

Is it possible to install Windows from an external Optical drive? I just installed a 500GB HDD where the optical drive was located in my 15" Early 2011 MPB.

No 🙁...only thing you need to do is put back the optical drive. After install the windows the put back again the optibay. 😉 cheers

Can I install Windows from a USB drive with the ISO copied to it?
