I started working recently with MAC and I'm having trouble installing OSX.

The procedure that I have is to put an external HD and before turning on the MAC hold the ALT thus go into recovery mode.

Access Disk Utility and select the HD and I click delete, choose the correct format and everything is normal.

But when I try to install appears to mensamge: it is not possible to find installation information for this equipment.

And the stranger who appears not my HD, appears only the external HD, as it does for the MAC recognize the HD again?

Boa tarde,

what are you trying to do :

1. install OS X via Internet (Internet connexion requested), or :

2. install OS X from a bootable install drive ?
Your Disk utility screen shot shows a "Install OS X Mavericks" drive : what is this exactly ?
