installation of xmgrace on Intel Mac

Did anyone successfully install the Grace package on an Intel Mac?
Fink has only an "unstable" version for Intel Macs, and so far I haven't
managed to get it to run.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as I depend on this nice plotting software ...

is this on Leopard or Tiger? I am using Fink and its grace works fine on Tiger (intel MBP). I am looking for any reports of people getting xmgrace to work on Leopard's X11, though...
