I will be purchasing an iPhone 8 and one or both of the Apple silicone or leather cases. But I will probably want to use the phone naked sometimes and/or change cases. I'm wondering how easily these cases go on and off. After you are used to it, is it just a couple of seconds or a longer process. Any first-hand info would be very helpful. Thanks!

Okay this is probably the worst topic on iPhone-related issues. Seriously? Just look any random Apple leather case review on youtube.

for instance: (and this one even takes to long in my opinion. It's nothing more than "snap" and you're done)

EDIT: and yes, I am providing you with what you call 'first hand info'. I have an iPhone X and the Apple Leather Case.

it tells you how to install it once you remove the case from it's packaging.

Haven’t taken it off, but it’s pretty easy to snap on, couple of seconds at the most! Enjoy your case!

There’s been some pretty funny responses, lol......but in keeping with the theme of being helpful, I think the OP was just asking because honestly, there are some cases that are pretty hard to take on and off (there’s another thread about the Spigen cases & their tight fit.)

Thanks, coffee50. Yes, I've been reading lots of case reviews the past couple days and see complaints about some cases being hard to remove and sometimes even breaking when doing so. Thought I'd ask here for input before putting down my $45.

I hadn't thought of looking on YouTube since I don't use it much. But the video linked above was helpful. Good idea.

Just walk into any Apple store, the cases are completely out on display and you are able to put them right on your phone and see how they look. They have demo units of nearly every color.

Yeah, this is a good idea. You can try as many colors as you want, but it also gives you the chance to see how quick & easy it is to put on & take off, multiple times in a row.

Thanks - I'll definitely do that. Won't be getting to the Apple store for a few more days, so I appreciate your comments in the meantime.
