Installed iLife - iPhoto stops working!

Im new to the MAC OSX, just bought my MBP yesterday!

I decided to go ahead and install Apple iLife 11 this morning. The installation went fine, it said it has installed successfully.

I have two problems: I can't find the iLife application anywhere? Is there a separate application for it or is it integrated into others?

and also my iPhoto app has stopped working. It has a censor symbol over it and says "can't be opened because it may be damaged or incomplete"

Anyone able to help? As i said, I'm a newbie to the MAC OSX so please be gentle 😛

iLife is an application suite that collectively refers to iPhoto, iMovie, and GarageBand. There is no "iLife" application. It comes pre-installed on all new Macs, so by re-installing it you must have corrupted iPhoto.

Ah ok, thanks, I didn't know I already had it installed! Any idea how I can fix my iPhoto app? iMovie is fine and so is Garage Band

Delete then reinstall iLife entirely maybe the simplest (but not the most elegant...)
