Installed Leopard & Lost Programs?

I recently installed leopard on my powerbook g4. when i did this i lost garageband, idvd, imovie, and iphoto. I managed to get the newest version of iphoto and if i'm making movies I usually use final cut. but im wondering if there is a way to get my old idvd and garageband back? also why did this happen?

If you did a clean install of Leopard, you will not have the iLife suite as Leopard does not include it. You will need to install from your restore discs or previous iLife discs.
