Hi, need help with this problem, can't seem to solve

Installed Yosemite on my Mac Mini which is connected to my HD TV via HDMI.

After install, my desktop is larger than the screen, so the top menu bar is not visible, though it is accessible if you mouse up there, the menus will drop down.

The Dock is also partially obscured.

This is not a zoom issue...zoom was not enabled, I enabled it and this is the fully zoomed out view of my desktop - with the outside obscured, so zooming in and all the way back out, still leaves me with this obscured desktop.

I also tried playing with my TV settings and no dice that I could uncover.

This was working fine prior to Yosemite install.

This is a Mac Mini (Mid 2011) and a Panasonic Viera 60 inch TV bought about 2 years ago.

Ideas?

Many thanks in advance!

Set the proper screen resolution, for your 60" TV, in the display setting in Control Panel.
